Jim Folkens 1968 Aloha
Now for a story on how we found this trailer. We first started by driving from Redmond to Coos Bay to look at a smaller trailer.
When we got there the trailer was not near as nice as we were told. So we jumped back on the Internet while driving up I-5 heading back home. We found another one to stop and look at in Salem, and the one that we bought, but it was in Portland.
By the time we got to Salem and looked at the first trailer (we did not buy) it was pushing 9pm. So we thought forget about the one in Portland, it will be gone by the time we get there, not to mention we have been up since 4am already. Time to get HOME. Needless to say we bought Nothing. I got up the next morning and started surfing the web, and found 3 more trailers to look at, and again nothing. Got home about 1:30 in the afternoon, checked the web (Craigslist) one more time, and BAAM there it was, the trailer in Portland.
We called them and told them it was Sold and we were on our way. By now it is almost 3:00 and Portland is still 3 plus hours away. Well needless to say we came home with are new/used Aloha Travel Trailer.
We towed the trailer home with 1 tail light, and no turn signals, and when I hit my brakes the clearance lights on the trailer would come on, and all this at night, and in the rain.
